This was originally published on Tumbler by me years ago (under Northern something, I think) and later used in a video for the Black Stone Sanctuary channel on YouTube. I'm republishing it here as a reminder and offering. Skadi grant me the wisdom to know when to bide my precious time or when to take decisive action. Due to personal and household health and work reasons, I'm no longer involved with the project. However, I still support founder Danica Swanson's dream of "a dark monastic incubation space." Also, the online home of the Sanctuary has been moved back to Substack from Paragraph. I hope you'll consider following the project there and supporting Danica's vision of "an interfaith URL-to-IRL monastic retreat project." I wish Danica and the Sanctuary nothing but the best. © Trish Deneen
